Add 8 foot by 21 foot extension to family room including dormer type roof over addition with sliding glass door on 8 foot wide wall and floor to ceiling windows on 21 foot wide wall. Slope of yard will result in additon being about 4.5 feet above ground. Exterior brick up to floor level with vinyl siding from floor level to roof.

I just purchased a home with a large, open kitchen and I would like to install a kitchen island. I've found a few online for approx $2000 and I'm wondering if an island built for my kitchen by a contractor would be less expensive.

Hello. I am trying to find out how much it would cost to convert my 3rd bedroom into a single car (attached) garage. It was once a garage but was converted into a third bedroom so it is built to be a garage in the first place. I think all it would be is ripping down the front and putting in the track and door. I have a bathtub/shower combo with some cabinets directly abover it making for a very enclosed space that I would like to completely redo. I envision having the cabintes above the shower/tub gutted and then a new shower/tub with nice large tile and new faucet/shower fixtures and a couple of recessed lights placed in above the bathing space. I would like to convert a 2 car garage into a living room. This would include removing the garage door and adding a window and siding. Also, we would like to add a shower to the existing 1/2 bathroom. (we would need to extend the bathroom into the garage area by 4 feet to make room for the stand up shower)
